A subject that I enjoy studying

Image
It's a bit difficult choose a subject that I enjoy, as I don't have a one that I really really enjoy, but for now I'd like to talk about the subject of "Oral and Written Communication" This subject is responsible for preparing us both vocally and physically to make presentations or talks in front of an audience, also prepares us to realize more attractive and fun Power Points for all types of public or a specific public.  I’m a pretty shy person who has a hard time getting his creativity out, so this subject has helped me a lot since they give us tips to relax and feel more calm when facing the public and also give us tips when creating our Power Points to make them much more dynamic. Up to now we have done one job and I like it as each class give us a feedback of what we have done and help us to improve Is a rather interesting subject, because as I said before, it has helped me to overcome my weak points and that's makes me very happy :)

The persons I admire

I don't have a person that I admire now in my field, as it  I have not yet met in depth any person in my area. So instead I'm going to talk about some very close persons I admire, my parents <3 I know that is normal admire your parents, but I'd like to tell you why I admire them. They were parents when their economic situations was not the best, so my father decided to study and work at the same time to have a better long-term life while my mother took care of my siblings and worked sporadically. Fortunately my father managed to finish his career ( actually he studied many careers jaja) and therefore the economic situation were improved. I admire them because I believe that not everyone would sacrifice their time and personal life for their family (I mean, my father, for example, worked by day and I studied by night and yet, on weekends he managed to spend quality time with his family). All their efforts have been made so my siblings and I have a full life and without bi

How can my major make the world a better place?

I'm currently studying food engineering and I personally think that this career opens a lot of doors to the future, because thanks to it we have been able to understand how food is composed and how we can get the most out of them, in the sense of making them more durable, more nutritious and satisfying. These characteristics, as I said before, open doors to the future because thanks to them we could reduce world hunger, being able to make foods with high nutritional value to reduce the nutritional malnutrition in both children and adults. On the other hand, thanks to the genetic modification of plants, we can considerably reduce the appearance of pests in fields and orchards, helping hard-working people not to lose their plantations because of them. I'm still studying so I still have to learn many of the benefits that this career brings us, but I look forward to graduating so I can make use of all the knowledge I'm learning.
